White Cliffs (May 9)

The White Cliffs of Dover are the most famous and we were glad to see them but the cliffs are better viewed at Beachy Head (highest chalk sea cliff in Britain) and the Seven Sisters. Unfortunately, when we reached the top of Beachy Head, the fog had rolled in and we couldn’t see the cliffs.

Not sure what is in the cliff side in the far right picture but it looks like a possible gun installation which, would make sense facing France.
