The Durham Museum, Omaha

This Union Station (opened in 1931) was closed in 1971 (too few passenger trains) and re-purposed as a museum. The statues were so perfect you felt you were back in the 1940s.

Bob’s folks married in 1945 when his dad was in the Army at the end of WWII. I can see them in a train station like this.
