We have spent quite a lot of time in New Mexico (Not Really New, Not Really Mexico!!) in the last couple of years and we really love this state.  The pictures below will explain at least part of that.  We were on our way from Eagle Nest to visit my sister in Raton when we came upon this traffic jam.  There aren’t too many places where you will find cattle across the road blocking an RV! In addition to the young lady on horseback, there was also a man on horseback and one on an ATV herding these cows.
