Coming into town from the miners’ “homes” we are at the other end of town from the RV park. From here you can see the Post Office and General Store/Gas Station on the left side of the street and the Crowbar Cafe and Saloon and the Museum on the other side. The Crowbar, while the only game in town, had amazingly good food. We ate there several times (sometimes breakfast, sometimes lunch) and everything we had was above average. The museum was full of local history and, outside, all kinds of mining paraphernalia from the early 20th century.
While Bob was busy taking way too many pictures at the museum (see the next post for Grumpy), I decided to relax by the Crowbar. Bet some of you have never seen a telephone booth. While we have great WiFi and can text, we have NO cell service so this is probably pretty handy for some folks.
