Hurricane Ridge, Olympic Peninsula, WA

Second day around the peninsula. Hurricane Ridge is the best viewing point for Mt. Olympus. The fog up and back was pretty amazing!

These two were amazingly tame. Never moved as we walked up just to the right onto the viewing deck.

I suspect it is always difficult to see the mountains without clouds. We waited for an hour or so hoping it would clear up but it never did. It was sunny and beautiful where we were at the viewing area.

This picture looks like it is in black and white but it is actually in color. Looking through binoculars at the mountain looked like this – very cool.

There were several places where little waterfalls were bringing the snow melt down.
