Elephant Tree

Many of you are aware of my love of elephants.  In the desert museum we saw this:

Later, while I was sitting in the car waiting for Bob, I became aware of this tree that seemed to have the same leaves so I looked it up on the internet and found out it was indeed a large one.  The name comes from the trunk and limbs looking like elephant legs. Sometimes you see them when their bark is green or white. They apparently don’t tolerate the cold and therefore only grow in very southern, desert parts of this country and in South America.
