Bob’s Aunt Helen and her four children (John, Diane, Charles and Denise) live in or near the Seattle area. Denise very kindly had us all to dinner (thanks to all the cooks – Helen for the potato salad, Chuck for the ribs, Denise/Lee for the beans and Diane/Steve for the ice cream pies) and we had a wonderful visit. They have two family weddings soon. Diane and Steve’s son is marrying in Oregon (he lives in Bend) the weekend of July 4th and Charles is marrying Marie on July 19th (reception on 22nd and they leave for a two-week sailing honeymoon on their 30 foot sailboat the next day). We felt really lucky to get to see them all. Thank you, John, for coming the distance.

Clearly Chuck has never grown up (recently retired and unlikely to do so now). I believe Diane (above with Chuck and maybe about to put some horns on his head – perhaps she hasn’t quite grown up either) is the only one still working. Her husband, Steve, (below with Denise) talks like he is ready to do some traveling by RV.
This 1977 Corvette with only 26,000 miles is in beautiful, pristine condition (all original). Wonderful. Only Denise is allowed to drive it (poor Lee). The lighting makes the body look messed up but it is not!
