Cascade Falls

Having discovered that there was another falls nearby (and even more accessible) we drove across town to see it. It was actually a shorter walk but a little steeper (nice wide path, though) and I stopped at the bench in the lovely viewing area provided. My view was pretty much that shown in the second and fifth pictures (and if they would just cut down a couple of trees it would be perfect!).  The third picture shows the falls above where the trees obscured my view (thankfully, I have my own personal photographer who gets all the shots for me). The last picture is just to show how amazing some of the mountains are (see the snow on the far away mountain?).

  1. Great fun following your adventures. I had no idea there were ANY waterfalls in this area!
I’m not afraid of heights, but some of those canyon bridges are …pretty far up!

    1. And these turned out not to be very high compared to some of the stuff we got into in The Rocky Mountain National Park and going up to Pike’s Peak – hikes!
