Bob visited Carlsbad Caverns a couple of years ago with our daughter and granddaughters (and their greatgrandfather, Grumpy, outwalked them all).  I, however, have not been back since our daughters were young.  Also, we want to visit Guadalupe Mountains National Park (which we haven’t been to in more than 30 years and is one of our favorite parks). This is a great time to see McKittrick Canyon in the park as the Maple trees will be beautiful (yes, you heard me right – a canyon of Maple trees in the middle of the desert).  New Mexico is greener than we have seen it in many years.
