Of course we had to visit the Alamo but I think, after the other missions, it is rather buried in the city and more difficult to imagine the Mexicans surrounding and threatening it. I remember my first visit after having Texas history repeatedly in school and imagining THE ALAMO.  I was so disappointed!

The trees were so amazing.

Jen and Charlotte were admiring the fish and we all took a little rest.
