Pike’s Peak is one of Colorodo’s 14,000 plus peaks and one which has a road to the top.  You truly feel like you are at the top of the world.  The drive up is not particularly fun (at least it wasn’t for me) but the view is amazing.  Only wish we had seen it on a clear day. Some folks ride up and down the mountain on the cog railway but I am not sure how I would feel about that either.
