And it is quite mighty looking. It was hard for me to believe it is the fourth largest US river (by outflow) after the Mississippi, Ohio and St. Lawrence (Bob and I did not even realize that one is considered US).
There are caves cut in the rock. One of the volunteers told us there was a cave below us larger than the visitor’s center (which was quite large). Most of these pictures were taken from the visitors center (barely seen nestled in the trees in the right hand picture above or down and to the left in the lighthouse picture).
