Crossing the bridge back to VA was a little frightening. Bob drove across because the crosswinds Marilyn had driven in up the peninsula made her uneasy about the bridge. Of course Bob had to ask an inappropriate question about whether I thought the MH would float and how I felt about this country’s infrastructure. What a guy.
Crosswinds can be ‘interesting’ – makes you wonder how those trucks deal with it! Has to be the weight alone of the rigs, I suppose. That particular bridge is something else – we did it before our RV came along.
On that same trip we took the ferry over to Cape May and on up to Atlantic City for a night. The ferry passage was completely fogged-in, that too was ‘interesting’.
