Sequoia National Park #1

Our daughter Robyn and our niece Rebecca drove over from the Bay Area for a couple of days and we drove into the park.  The redbud trees were much stronger color (not easy to see in the picture) here than what we were accustomed to in VA. Beautiful scattered all through the forest as we drove up the mountains.

The boulders, as you will see in subsequent pictures, are colossal! Wonder how long this one will stay there.

Some sights along one walk we took.

It may be a little difficult to see but the holes in the rock held items for grinding.
