In addition to being single-track and, when not, narrow, we have run across many interesting things on the roads of Scotland. Not the least of which are these:

Largest grade we’ve ever seen on a normal road (there was one on Hawaii’s Big Island down to a valley — 45%!).
Maybe the only pickup truck we’ve seen. And people in the bed!
