Scotland East Coast

On the way from John o’Groats to Wick we enjoyed the East Coast of Scotland. While not as mountainous or spectacular, it is beautiful in its on way. We noticed that the stone walls have the top row of stones stacked vertically instead of horizontally. We also saw some thatched roofs, though mostly on farm buildings and not on houses. The Airbnb we stayed in was called Castle View. It did have a view of a castle in ruins, but it was further and wetter that we liked, so we did not visit.
