Rainy Illinois

As I said before they have had wayyyyyy too much rain in this area.  The corn and soy bean crops are mostly beautiful but in some low areas you can see how the water has ruined some of the crop.  What you mostly see is field after field of corn and soy beans and it is beautifully green.  A few fields have what they call volunteer corn – some fields have more than others and I am not sure why. The fields are rotated (I am not sure how many years in what crop) and, when plowed under, sometimes corn comes up voluntarily in the soy bean field. The field below had a lot!
