Iona Nunnery

Another ferry ride (this time sans car) to us a short distance from Mull to the small island of Iona. It was a cold, blustery day so we did not stay long or hike across the island to the beach. But, we did very much enjoy the nunnery and the abbey. To learn more about the nunnery, click here.

Iona Nunnery is one of the best preserved medieval nunneries in the British Isles.
