Grumpy’s Memorial Service

The memorial service was held in the First Baptist Church (where Granny and Grumpy have been members since moving to Ruidoso).

As mentioned before, Bob’s sister, Marilyn, is the organist for the Episcopal Church. In addition, she accompanies the Community Choir. This choir for the service was folks from both and they were amazing. In addition, Marilyn and Patty sang a duet of “Close to Thee” and Marilyn sang “The Lord’s Prayer.” The five greatgranddaughters sang “Jesus Loves Me” (Grumpy’s favorite hymn) along with the choir.

A reception followed the memorial service.
