Eagle Nest is a small village in a beautiful valley surrounded by breathtaking mountains.  You can see across the meadow directly outside the front of our RV at the mountains which still contain some snow on the peaks. There are frequently horses (you can see one) in the meadow. Eagle Nest itself is out of the picture to the right. The other picture is looking back at the RV park (from Eagle Nest) at more snow capped peaks behind us (Wheeler).  It is hard to capture in pictures or explain with words how truly awesome an experience it is to just get up in the morning and look around!
