This is in Banff and the springs were basically what started Banff National Park (Canada’s first). It was an interesting stop. We were there for Canada’s 150th anniversary so we got into parks, etc. for free. For more about the site go here.

The girls were not too excited about the sulfur smell but it was an intriguing place.

There were some reenacters telling about the building of the railroad. Charlotte had fun “driving” the railroad handcar. Marilyn joined the girls riding the train.
