We have been stopping every time we pass the Gator Pond in hopes that we would see one. We took a late afternoon walk and, lo and behold, Bob spotted him on the far side of the water. He was really hard to see as you can tell from the bottom picture. We were probably about 100 feet across the water from him. He really blends. His curled around tail was what made us think it was a gator. He looks so peaceful and non-threatening! Bob also took this lovely flower along the water’s edge and decided he liked the contrast of beauty and the beast.
