Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum

This was an amazing place. It had everything from lizards, snakes, etc., to birds (including hummingbirds), and all kinds of larger animals either in their actual native habitat (like the javelinas) or something produced that was very like their habitat. Bob took about 250 pictures and you can be sure I had a heck of a time getting it down to something reasonable for the blog. It you are ever in Tucson this is a must!  By the way, the stingrays (which have been rendered not dangerous) can be touched by leaning over the edge of the pool and putting your previously washed hands and forearms into the pool.  The rays come right up and slide along your hand.   The ears I am standing between indicate the size our ears would have to be to hear like a bat.
