On our early morning walk today we stopped to look for alligators in this alligator pond.  We understand it is designed to attract insects that attract frogs, turtles and birds that then feed the alligators.  We didn’t see an alligator but understand that the park has a 15 foot male that can sometimes be seen sunning himself around the park.
